CrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer
Born and raised in California, I grew up in Apple Valley, where I ran for my high school Cross Country and Track team. I graduated college in 2009 and traveled for the next few years until 2011. I’ve always lived an active lifestyle, which included many endless weekends at the motocross track. My fitness level was beginner at best; I had a hard time doing a push-up and I wasn’t able to do a pull-up. It wasn’t until a friend introduced me to CrossFit, that I realized I wasn’t reaching my potential, not only as an athlete, but also as a woman, a strong capable woman.
My new adventure started, and soon I wanted more. From then, I started a 6 -month internship under the expert guidance of owner, Alison Bushnell. I received my Level 1 Certification in July 2012, started coaching, and found my passion for teaching. As a Coach, I often get asked, “Why do you CrossFit?” because I love it. Not like my love for coffee (and I really love coffee) but I love CrossFit because it’s a game changer!! It has changed my whole way of life, the way I eat, drink, sleep and work! I’ve always considered myself to be healthy, but in reality I was just surviving each day, eating what I wanted to eat and running a mile here or there at the local gym. I had no idea what my body needed. CrossFit has awoken me, and given me the skills I need to thrive. After a lot of sweat, blood and tears, CrossFit has given me the body I’ve always wanted as a woman. I’m proud of my body and how strong I am, I love CrossFit because it changed my life.
