“Fake it till you make it”-Don’t yet see yourself as a super-healthy person? Experiment with doing a little of what you’d do if you were already supremely healthy and fit. As often as you can, act as if your commitment were unwavering.
9 Week Challenge update! 5 weeks in, we’re well over half way! How’s it going? What kind of hurdles or obstacles have been challenging? Let’s hear it. Maybe someone else is sharing the same challenges. Maybe we can all help each other.
As we’re over half-way through the 9 Week Challenge it’s important to start planning for your future “post-challenge”. Do you continue your new-found awesomeness? Do you chalk it up as a learning experience and forget about it like water under the bridge? This challenge is not intended as a crash diet or weight-loss deal. The objective is to shift nutrition paradigms. To educate about healthier choices. To correct poor habits and establish new, healthy habits. To illustrate the principles of will-power and determination and to show that healthy food eaten in correct amounts is the best medicine for you.
Monday is a Holiday and a lot of folks are going to be out of town. Travel safely! We’ve decided to consolidate Monday’s classes into one afternoon class, 2:30 PM. We’ll extend the class into a study hall for any special attention or tutoring needed.
