Rowing technique is very challenging. Especially as we fatigue. But proper position, as with all other movements, is key to better results, less energy “bleeding” and reduced risk of injury. Every time you get on the row erg is the time to practice correct technique. The erg is a very popular warm-up tool and we are always reminding and cueing you to the correct positions. We really enjoy the 7’s warm up drills as they reinforce proper positions and sequencing. Here’s a quick little video about common errors that we see often.
