WOD: “Memorial Day Murph”

For time:
Run 1 mile
100 Pull ups
200 Push ups

Awesome job today everybody. Thanks for coming out and making Murph such a huge success. The bounce house was rocking for the kiddos and you guys brought the energy. Oh and the food was fantastic! I think most everybody set PR’s, a few being HUGE personal records. For example, 2o minute improvement, or solo RX’d under one hour with a previous team effort at an hour. Big Stuff! Very impressive, very inspiring efforts.
To some folks, a simple PR on a work-out may not mean much, but we see the effort you guys put out. We see the transformation you’re making and the person you are becoming, how awesome you are, how capable you are, and how nobody really knows what their personal limits are. Most simply accept some mediocre situation and settle for excuses. Not you! You are taking control and choosing to change your situation and your well-being. You Rule!

I couldn’t agree more with both Alison and Jane. Today, once again I am humbled. I saw evidence of amazing transformations from simple folks who are choosing to take charge of their Lives. You guys are proving that making positive choices and persevering, works. There’s no magic pill or elixir. Good ole’ fashion hard work and real food. Simple stuff. Crazy stuff! And I also thank you.
