Daniel kicked serious butt today with the highest score almost getting 19 rounds! Very nice work.
Remember that your Results correspond directly with your Intensity (and nutrition). So if you aren’t seeing the results you desire, dial in your nutrition-garbage in=garbage out, both performance and results. You won’t be able to do your best because poor nutrition simply doesn’t allow for it. In all that you do, your work, your play, your rest, your workout, your focus. Be sure to get proper rest and sleep.
Dial in your Intensity. Turn it up! Start pushing yourself past what you “only have to do”. Stop doing just the bare minimum, unless that’s the best of your efforts, that’s fine, that’s what we desire, the best of your efforts. But doing just the minimum will get you just the minimum. Yes, this is hard. We know. Sometimes it hurts and it’s uncomfortable. But it’s a temporary discomfort that leaves you feeling awesome and accomplished almost as soon as you stop. You’ll feel better about yourself, you’ll make the greatest gains and you’ll really surprise yourself.
So when the clock starts, focus on the task, get after it to the best of your ability, and when you go down in flames, kicking, scratching, clawing, fighting your way through the very last seconds of the WOD, you’ll know that you gave it your best. And you’ll be better for it. You’ll learn new things about yourself. Don’t give up on yourself, because we won’t give up on you. We want to see all of you achieve your goals.
Ready! 3.2.1…GO!!!
