Congrats to one of our very own Service Men, Gil for his effort at this years BolderBoulder 10K run, 50 minutes at 6193′ elevation, one day of rest after Murph.  Hoo-rah!  Gil, you the Man.  

Happy Memorial Day.  The Hi-Def family sends our Thanks and Love to all the ones before us, to the soldiers standing up for our freedoms.  For the ones who made the ultimate sacrifice and their families left behind.  Thank you and we will never forget.

Regardless of what the bottom feeders in the modern media portray, we live in a great country.  We are allowed freedoms unshared in most parts of the world.  Our lifestyles are luxurious and easy.  We are plagued with diseases of the rich and affluent.  Not of the poor and hungry.  This country is full of opportunity, and choice.  It’s up to each one of us to take advantage of this freedom to choose and flourish.  Don’t follow the herd.  Don’t give heed to the toxic media floundering in misery for ratings.  Don’t race to the bottom.  Aim for the top.  Make the sacrifices of our military men and women worthy.  Honor their service with American Pride, follow your dreams and make them happen.

That’s what this place is all about.  

WOD:  Who’s sore from Murph?  Damn, that was brutal.  Get warm somehow then,

4 Rounds for AMRAP with a partner:

1 minute Rope pull ups

1 minute rest

1 minute Dumbbell hang power cleans 

1 minute rest

1 minute 10 yard shuttle run

1 minute rest

While you’re resting your partner is working.  Take turns being awesome.
