The Good.

WOD:  Run foolishly, kick your own butt a bit and warm up.  Lift heavy stuff.  Then,

AMRAP in 8 minutes of:

The Bad

Ahh, the Kids.  We Love em.  But we have to set some boundaries and stand by them.  It’s bitter-sweet to have certain problems.  We feel as if we are all a big family helping each other achieve our own personal goals.  And many of us have children who join us at the box.  We try hard to maintain an intimate, family-like setting.  We want everyone to feel welcome and “at home”.  But kids struggle distinguishing behavior sometimes when they feel “at home”.   It is important that all of us understand, though we are comfortable around each other,  Hi Def is still a place of business, operating in a busy industrial park alongside other professional businesses. 

We must respect our neighbors.  We must acknowledge the risks of kids running around outside unsupervised and interfering with traffic.  We have a “romper room” specifically for the kids.  Yes it’s small and sometimes crowded whatever.  There is no baby sitter; each parent is responsible for controlling and maintaining their children.  (And we totally understand how hard and burdensome this is.) 

At this point we have very lenient rules for the kids.  We don’t want to be tyrants, please help us keep it this way.  Help the children maintain.  The kid’s room is theirs, not to thrash, right on walls, floors and stuff.  But to do kids stuff.  We know something’s happen…they are kids.  But the lobby is a lobby, the gym floor is where the magic happens and the area outside, we share with everyone else.  Unfortunately, there is no playground.  Yet.  Thanks you guys
